Meet Our Experts

Mr. Gregory Chambers began his career as a research and development engineer working in the primary metals industry. After the economic recession occurred in the 1980’s, he enrolled in a metalworking apprenticeship program. He entered the apprenticeship program because he wanted to be able to “make things, not just design them.” After graduating as a Journeyworker Precision Toolmaker, he was given the reigns to the Oberg Industries apprenticeship and training programs started by the company founder, Donald E. Oberg. He managed 17 apprenticeship programs for over twenty years, graduating close to 300 journey workers in a variety of occupations during that time. He retired in 2024 and founded Jagbasc LLC to help companies train and develop their own employees.

He is a past recipient of the National Tooling and Machining Association’s William E Hardman Award for Excellence in Training for his strong support and active participation in structured training for the precision custom manufacturing industry. He is a graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University with a degree in Chemical Engineering and has been married to his beautiful wife Andrea for over four decades. They have four children and five grandchildren.
